If anyone is wondering the “right now” Sept date given by ProdigalX is the Julian Calendar but there is also the Julian date (which is just a number like a stardate), with the Calendar days begin at midnight but with the Julian date they start at noon and have nothing to do with when the sun sets ! So at 11.59 this morning the Julian date was 2458401.9993055556, very useful for astronomy as the date doesn’t change in the middle of your working night.
